Dr. Lance Alpert
Dr. Alpert is licensed to practice Advanced Care Optometry. Dr. Alpert has been in practice in Manchester, Connecticut for over 25 years and maintains one of the largest specialty contact lens practices in the area. He has served as a consultant in new technology contact lenses for several Contact Lens companies.He has also served as a Low Vision Specialist for the Board of Education and Services for the Blind. Dr. Alpert received a National Diploma in Optometry in South Africa, and a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. He is member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists. Dr. Alpert has served as a Board member of the CAO. His specialties include difficult to fit contact lenses as well as Corneal Reshaping Therapy, geriatrics, Low Vision and the co-management of LASIK and other forms of laser vision correction for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Dr. Alpert currently holds positions on the speakers bureaus of several Contact Lens companies.
